Up-cycling a vintage long coat.

For my new assignment I am up-cycling a vintage long coat.

The fabric looks a little worn-out

But with a bit of tlc and a lot of imagination. I want this garment to be loved and wearable again.

I am thinking of dying it a grey colour. And turning it into a beautiful smart suit. With a further trim. I will draw 4 designs and decide after a discussion and presentation to my class.

Learning chinese writing

My grandad is chinese and ive always loved the chinese writing and symbols. Finally im starting to learn them. I will like to make my loved ones Christmas presents with their name personalised on textiles. This picture is a work in progress I will update when finished. But im practising learning to write chinese style. :)
